WE'RE ALL ON WATCH.

One person can save the lives of many innocent people. Street vendor Lance Orton foiled

the Times Square car bombing because he saw something and said something.

Here's what happened when people who could  have said something but didn't.

'Before the explosion, Khan was seen fiddling with the top of the rucksack. The explosion killed 7 including Kahan, and injured 163 people'

– Report of the Offilcial account of the Bombings in London on 7th July, 2005

'Out for a smoke after dinner, fisherman Bhartat Tandel sees something curious. 10 boat-dressed young men in a rubber dinghy pull up to the jetty. 'They lifted their bags and carried them on their backs. Two men moved forward. I asked them what was in the bags. They asked me to mind my own business and not bother them.'Tendel doesn't report the encounter until it's too late.

I just thought it was weird. When you’re at the airport and see any unattended luggage, you tell the authorities.

'I was playing it off in my head. You’re at the marathon,

you don’t think of it. You’re in Boston. Stuff like this doesn’t happen.’

– Boston Marathon Bombing Survivor

You have “stopping power.”

On September 19, 2016 Harder Bains, a Linden NJ bar owner, reported seeing a man that fit the description of the NY/NJ bomber sleeping in his doorway. Bains quickly notified the local police. Within minutes, the suspect was apprehended. Harder Bains told CNN the police were the heroes. He just did what he knew he should do. He said he "saw something and said something."

There are two things you can do. Keep your eyes and ears open and immediately report anything suspicious to the police or call 911 or your local emergency number.
